I think I too recall that axe incident!! So good to have those memories, so much more important to know you have those memories, to cherish, to recall them and to know they could all go one day too. My mum also has Alzheimer’s….its a cruel disease to be sure.
This is so beautifully written Jo… I’m in tears. I knew about your mum but reading this makes me realize how hard it must be.. I admire you so much. You’re incredibly strong xxx
I just wanted to let you know that I have really enjoyed your writing and the honesty and emotion you place within it. These life events ,that come to all of us at some point ,make us reflect and grapple with the significant and important things around us and those closest to us. I applaud your frankness and the way you share your personal feelings through your writing. X
Very moving, Jo. I went through the same thing with my father. He died in 1997. Now my sister, who is only three years my senior, has been diagnosed. My brother-in-law has been looking into respite care for her, but the problem is getting her to agree to it. I suppose guilty feelings are inevitable, though it sounds as if you have done, and are still doing, all you can for your 'mama'. Sending you positive vibes. 🧡💛💚💙💜
I remember your mama at the Bialy Orzeł. She was always so welcoming and friendly. Sending hugs. My tatuś also had Alzheimer’s, but luckily not to such a severe degree, before we lost him in 2011. Hugs and buzi ❤️
So beautifully written Asia.x
Thank you Renia. That is so kind of you to write your message. Xxx

Lovely to hear from you Elka. How are you doing? Sorry to hear about your mum. I remember your parents. How is your sister doing?
